Does Use Of Pornography Harm One's Magick?

I wasn’t going to go into this… and I wasn’t pursuing it from the same angle as you. But yeah. I’ve been stalking select porn people for ages now and I’m seeing people who have unprotected sex with literally hundreds of anonymous non-screened people in a single weekend multiple times a year, on top of all the porn and sex work they do. And I mean they’re filming their private lives as a side gig. And they’ve been doing this for decades. They’re healthier looking than most people and I mean they’re jamming an HD camera way up every orifice and you can plainly see there’s nothing wrong with with them.
I think it’s one of those, “That which is poison to the profane is medicine to the initiate.” type deals. The dumb sheep get tricked into fucking themselves to death and the porn guy probably knows something about ritual abstention and indulgence and how to utilize the energy that we don’t.

Edit - Porn was NOT my only lead on this of course. People were dropping hints. And I think I’m going to wind up being VERY interested in spagyrics and Elixirs as taught by BARDON.
I mean it’s two plus two at this point - the whole point of the Abramelin squares has GOT to be transmuting the energy into Elixirs and talismans. How the hell else can a gaggle of demons and a magic square cure STD’s, radically alter someone’s physical appearance etc, etc. Only makes sense from a transmutation from gold to lead point of view. Just how the physical plane works.

Porn is bad for you.

How to tell if you’re addicted to porn (as a straight guy): if you see an attractive girl and you don’t feel the sexual attraction in your body - if on occasion a completely clothed girl in public doesn’t make you slightly hard, then you are addicted to porn.

Note: the most sexualized places on earth have the lowest birthrates and the lowest sex drive, like Japan.

This is not the place for this, but there is a metaphysics of love, and attraction. Which constant sexual stimuli inhibits.

This has to do with the fact the sexual experience begins with being in the mere presence of the opposite sex- particularly alone. This is a developed theory in Taoism, and has to do with why - in so many traditional societies - it was forbidden for two people of the opposite sex to be alone together - because that itself is the first degree of sex. Porn stunts all of this, and helps demote the sexual experience to an orgasm.

Ancient prostitutes probably generated more meaningful, fulfilling, sex than do most modern relationships- and it isn’t just due to their ability of stimulating lust, seduction basically no longer exists; it was an art, an esoteric one.

  • A girl wearing lingerie to make a certain guy horny isn’t seduction - nor is twerking on a sticky dance floor in the club.

That is a very interesting and funny video about the subject

At the end it’s a very big industry based on a very strong instinct and sure they do anything and more to get you addicted in pursuit of profit and yes no one really regulates them. You may watch that documentary if you wanna learn about the industry, despite so many contributors, amazingly it’s very centralized one.

We are living in an age where we are surrounded by fake food, fake sex almost we have fake version of anything we think of ; yet it’s common to discuss whether the world is real or not, but one thing is for sure; we strive to make it “full of fakes”.

Does the magic in question require ritual purification? Maybe put off the porn binge til it’s done. Otherwise, shouldn’t hurt anything.

Pornography is the single greatest threat to civilization.

When Israel invaded palestine in 2002 their main strategy was to put pornography on every tv and radio station.

It has destroyed generations of men who are now, for all intents and purposes, castrated. If you live in the States, at the very least, you will notice that 99% of the men you meet are incredibly pathetic. These men all use porn. Porn saps away everything that makes you a man. It gives you the single greatest neurological reward in existence for no effort; and then slowly removes your ability to enjoy it. It takes away your willpower.

I have had many addictions in my life and none were even close to as hard to stop or have had as damaging effects on all areas of life as pornography. I also know very few men who have even attempted to stop using it, and NONE who never have. How many other things can you say that about?

Porn blows your brain out. There’s no way it doesn’t impact your magick. Your brain has literally not evolved to handle the level of stimulation that pornography provides. There is also this thing called the chaser effect that causes you to want to use it again shortly afterwards, just like with cocaine, and then you can easily end up ejaculating several times a day, which has disastrous effects on your hormones.

Like these?

This is over 2000 years old.

…or this:

This is the worlds oldest ceramic figure. It surely have some sexual connotation to it. Guess how old it is. 26 000 years old. That’s even pre-dating pottery by 10 000 years.

Pornography, erotica and sexual depiction has been there since humans learned how to paint in caves. How did we learn to survive that long if pornography is so devastating and harmful?

Pornography isn’t the problem. Addiction and lack of character is.

Comparing those carvings to internet porn is completely absurd, and if you really think that looking at shit like that has a comparable effect on the mind to internet porn, well, lmao.

I am not sure if this is off topic or on topic, but this does have me wondering about where fetishists fall in this issue. And I don’t mean “sometimes I like to be tied up and spanked” types. But the people who have very specific fetishes that they can not feel satisfied without it being fulfilled. Normal “two attractive people having sex” porn is everywhere and I can see how the average person could become addicted with its availability. But the niche minority may be having a completely different experience.

Not sure where I am going with this. Just food for thought.

Some people develop fetishes because of an early experience, others develop them through the process of desensitization to normal sexual stimulus that happens during porn addiction

I am not counting desensitized in my thought process here. Just people who developed their attractions early on with little to no obvious reason.

Really? Maybe you should do some research instead of mocking me. Pornography and erotica is much older than you think. Of course it has a historical significance, no matter how “absurd” you think my comparisons are.

Sex, in general, has a comparable effect on the mind ever since people discovered their first erection and wetness and horniness. It’s not only because of internet and availability that problems occurs. The problem is on an individual level.

…or some people devolop fetishes because of abusive experiences, which seems quite common in the BDSM community. I’ve met some of them, and it was pretty messy. The process of desentization is more common as a victim of abuse, rather than being a porn addict.

You are correct, but so am I.

Yeah, but it’s still on an individual level. We can’t generalize consumerism as an addiction, because there’s always people that have a healthy view of what they consume or chose a healthy lifestyle despite their life experiences.

I am sure some people can and do use internet porn in a restrained manner that does not cause them too much harm, but the fact is that most men nowadays have less access to sex than ever before, most men have very little, and internet porn dependance is an epidemic that is contributing to this problem. And it is a problem- most men, in general, have become weak and impotent. And this is not good for a society. If your men are not strong, your society is weak.

HahahahahahaHAHAHA…HAHA

That’s pure incel talk. You aren’t owed sex and if you can’t get any thats all on you, my dude. It’s not about availability it’s about actually being someone worth sleeping with.

I’m not an incel, my point is most men are and they are hopelessly dependent on internet porn.

I can agree on that, and it’s been going on for a decade or so. Before that, it was much easier to date women. No wonder the MGTOW exists.

But I wonder if women’s criteria of men has changed over the years, or is social media one reason of effect?

I fail to see the problem then. They are weak and therefore will get lost in their own addiction without further polluting the human gene pool.

Men aren’t “owed sex” today. Women are. Just as much as a man has less to say if a woman he sleeps with get pregnant. The divorce rate are skyrocketing nowadays, and who takes the biggest loss? Men, losing half their hard earned money, no matter if the woman helped him earning it or not. Is that fair?

There’s always victimblaming in everything nowadays, and that’s sugarcoating the bigger picture of the problem.
