Ok! So been doing some evocations and asking for certain things . Nothing really has manifested or their energies has been weak . Up until I’ve had enough… and started kinda getting really pissed i really felt it . Like an “ok ok fine” . I offerings and thank them but i told them it needs to be done or I’d burn the seal . I was pissed . Then i really felt presence and like i said “agreement” . Know what you want or they will take advantage. That’s the way i feel .

Correct . It was weird i gave them offerings and said i want it reciprocated. Maybe , that was their sign to be more confident and know what i want to get what i want sorta thing ? I’m kinda of a pushover at times too soo yea lol
You need to align your expectation with the essence of your desire (i.e. feeling good, feeling like you already have what you want, etc) before they can deliver. You need to be telling the story of what you want to the degree that you feel like it’s true (in other words, until you’re feeling great about it). It’s your work.
Being stern isn’t going to help you because the spirits can’t deliver when you’re out of alignment.
yeah it seems the spirits want us to assert our place and authority in reality.

I have a good working relationship with the hand full I work with with; it’s a mutual support thing. They have made it clear they’re only as strong as my own Will is. They’re only as present as my own energy will allow them to be. I’ve worked with many, and some I approached, others approached me. The ones I approached first weren’t as strong of a presence because there’s something in my own energy and personality that just didn’t jive; so we made a deal, did some work, I thanked, repayed and didn’t call upon them again. I have to be stern with my self sometimes. There’s a push and pull to this and I have to act too.
Does this make sense? If you’re having to be stern and you’re dissatisfied with a connection maybe it’s time to allow them to pass like a season, leave yourself open to new energies to make themselves apparent and strong in your life. Also, your horoscope and astrological placements matter when it comes to allowing certain energies to be evident in your life. Each spirit usually has a zodiac sign, season or theme to their energies and will work their best if you have similar placements in your chart.

But yes ! I actually just went through the whole natal chart as well. Seems some connection (for me GAAP) is aligned with me . But this makes 100% sense .

He was using a traditional system and the king laughed at him when he tried to command using the godnames because EA was fearful and stammering. However, when EA got angry, and forcefully pushed his Will through the words he was speaking, that was when Paimon stopped laughing and finally took notice of him. Demons want authority and command from the magician, not fearful grovelling.
@DarkestKnight exactly! Like I’m replaying exactly how it went down. And that’s how exactly it was. They’re like “ok ok, he’s not playing now” lol amazing and that was my fault , having that fear in the back of my head even though i thought i didn’t have that .
So if I understand everything instead of treating them like equals I should impose myself overthem for better results ?

Because I usually speak my request without fear and telling what I want. I haven’t felt moquery within their presence so I though it should be enough everytime…
I think the best way I could describe it is through this example. Let’s say you have three kings. One king is completely arrogant and full of himself, throwing a tamdrum when he does not get his way. The second king is fearful of the opinion of others, flip-flopping his words and deeds to try to appease the masses. Finally, the third is quiet, observing what is going on, but is firm with his voice when he commands and confident whereever he makes his stand. Which are you more likely to respect?
I tend to try to be like the third king when I approach spirits. Confident in myself and what I will, but not so much so that I will not acknowledge their input.
As far as sensing them, I believe we have some tutorials that might be helpful in strengthening them.

In my limited experience it’s best to have a middle ground; give respect get respect. It’s just like doing business with another human being, you should be sure of what you want, but threats don’t work, ridiculous demands from either side should and will often be ignored, some type of appreciation should be shown by the one receiving, and the payment should be made for services rendered.
To me this sounds more like am attachment issue from the way you describe it.
If i am understanding you right the manifestation didn’t happen till you got to the point of letting it go, in anger but still letting it go. And that is part of the point, you have to release attachment from a ritual done so the energies involved can do the work.
I don’t care if it is a spirit evocation or direct magick, sympathetic or something else. As long as you are closely attached to it, it is like trying to have a someone move a boulder but you refuse to stay out of the way of the work.
