Do you need any protection when casting any hodoo break up spell? Also I have a more question: imagine you want to free a man friend of you from a possesive woman, and you want to cast a break up jar spell, but do do not want to cause any harm to him. You don´t know if she practices magick or not, and you do not know if she has performed any binding magick for subjugating the man. Would you cast freely the break up spell or would you have to take some actions before?

If you think you need protection in order to do bane magic than obviously you are not ready. Work on your vibration, aura and chakras till getting stronger.
