There was a documentary about the work of scientist Chris Adami of Michigan state university “through the wormhole with Morgan Freeman” where he talks about digital technology having awareness. I took notes on this, and here it is: The digital level is also a state of awareness. And it is a state of awareness that can manifest and make things happen and take control if it’s in the right arena. I think during the show they also asked “Are digital aliens hiding within technology systems?” And “Are laws of physics alien consciousness?” I heard on a you tube video someone say that we can define life in terms of informational processes. This reminds me of Xa Turing, God of the internet. I think (not sure) that Xa Turing is a thought form. He must be the awareness they speak of.

Have you read anything by Goertzel or Baudrillard?

Dr. Ben Goertzel has some fascinating thoughts that hint at tech-spirituality, and Jean Baudrillard’s book, ‘Simulacra and Simulation’ is a must read for technomancers imo.
