Iām personally skeptical when it comes to spirits for protection as itās not to say who are most powerful. I think therefore itās more reasonable to use none-spirit magick.
Lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram is to banish negative forces and spirits.
There is also ringing a Tibetan bell at the corners which is has been used by Tibetan monks. There are also crystals that can be programmed.
Wiccans uses broom often and the broom can be enchanted with accumulation of the elements. There is also the magical chalice using the element of water to āwash outā parasites.

Sheās a demon slayer (sheās the less angry form of Kali, depending on the legend Kali either energed from Durgaās forehead or Durga became exceedingly angry & turned into Kali) a protector of the Gods, the Universe and of humanity Maa Durga is the warrior form of the Mother Goddess (you might want to compare the scenario to a Mother Lion protecting her cubs only instead of a lion Sheās the Mother Goddess in warrior form one of her many forms, the form necessary for battle in the protection of the universe).

And to a lesser degree, Shiva, although more that often he aids the demons in acquiring ridiculous amounts of power and then Vishnu has to incarnate to put a stop to their pillaging.
All the aforementioned gods also procure great SPIRITUAL benefits to their worshippers. So donāt be asking for wealth and women, as this is not their department. But if you seek to join with the supreme or not go to hell (in the case of Jesus) or avoid reincarnation the other deities will can be of service.

My take is that in general, demons and angels are of the same species, only with different political leaningsājust like some of us are anti- or pro-establishment, or are centrists. As such, any of them can be called upon and treated like a business partner for your own benefit or othersā, depending on that entityās abilities and affiliation. This isnāt so different from making deals with or seeking help from businessmen, politicians, and other persons of authority.
Although, I also think they have their own shit to deal with and we as humans overestimate our importance by imagining that all their agendas focus on us LOL.

I recommend you take a look at another book too: Energy Work: The Secrets of Healing and Spiritual Growth by Robert Bruce. His book is very detailed and, apart from offering very effective to banish, you will learn a lot about energy work!

It is clear that goetia demons are based on the 72 angels. The magicians of that time either took names from Bibleās nemesis or create their owns.
Some demons have funny history :
Moloch was said to be a pagan diety but it was found in the 1930 that Moloch was a type of sacrified, mostly done to Yahweh.
Astaroth was first mentionned as this form in The Book of Abramelin in the 15th century. The word Astareth from the Bible just meant āfemale fake goddessesā and Baal āmale fake godsā.
So it has hard not to believe that most famous goetic demons are egregores/servitors.

Shiva is one I would recommend. Iāve had some unique experiences with him wherein heās stepped in and provided unparalleled protection. Iāve worked with the usual Goetia demons, various goddesses, kali/durga, etcā¦ But when Shiva enters the room, itās like time stands still.
There is also Krishna/Ram/Vishnu who are also VERY efficient protectors of their devotees.

A god can protect you for sure but you can also use christian saint spirit as any other spirit and in this case St Benedict. Here you will use the christian magic and egregoric field. What you can do ? Draw a big Saint Benedict medal and activate it like any other sigil. No print it is better to draw by hands with your intention on a A4 paper format
Then lit some tap candle in the center and around.
Meditate on it and chant this as mantra during 15 mn" Crux sacra sit mihi lux non draco sit mihi dux vade retro satana nunquam suade mihi vana sunt mala quae libas ipse venena bibas" At the end fold the paper and keep it on yourself.
