We all know banishings usually invoke/evoke guardians to protect the caster during rituals or in general but say, the banishing calls upon a deity you’re not comfortable with or who’s energy isn’t beneficial for you, what would you do? Could you just call upon another entity?
I’m considering just changing the entity to one I’m comfortable with and who I know is reliable.

Call on any deity for that element. You can call on apollo to the south,Aphrodite to the west,Hercules to the earth and even Zeus for east.
You mentioned Zeus in the East and that’s interesting because this is exactly where Indra is invoked too
Zeus is our tradition always is being called on the east as the air element is attributed to the east.
