There are always more of us than there are of you, but there are always more of you than there are of me.

I think that’s a cool way to put the golden rule because it suggests the tactical reality of practicing ethical behavior instead of assuming that the balanced nature of “do unto others” will persuade the audience.
It also hinges on clever use of English.

Right on. I searched for a Koan thread after I saw this video. I’ve heard the word a bunch of times but I get it better now.
