I suspect a Daemon who wishes to communicate with me
he takes on the form of a crow.
I get the feeling it’s Marbas but does Marbas ever appear as a crow?

Not really.
As far as I remember, once I found (in literature) that Hermes doesn’t trust Raven because he already betrayed Apollo.
I can search for the myth about it, but it would take me some time. May I ask why do you find that important to you?
