No, it isn’t. See, “redemption” isn’t something that spiritually exists, outside of the favor of entities.

Power distorts information by way of its presence. People pray to be saved, and die like hogs regardless.

The only thing that can save your own ass is being strong enough to protect it.

I think by redemption he was referring to one’s social standing or reputation, but great post none the less, spot on!

Labelling is not about being naive enough to"see no/hear no evil" as it were. I’ll quote from what is presumably a book review on the matter;

"David Burns in his book Feeling Good describes “labeling and mislabeling” cognitive distortions: Personal labeling means creating a completely negative self-image based on your errors. It is an extreme form of overgeneralization. The philosophy behind it is “The measure of a man is the mistakes he makes.”
