No, Kokuto’s statement is correct. They said “some of the most hypocritical humans around in it”. The key word is some… They did not say “all”, but “some” and that is fairly accurate.
Let me give you an example of what hypocrisy is… I read several times over the years that Russia is a country where abortion as birth control was and is still very much practised.
Some facts on Russia: more abortions than births per year, a large percentage of woman having had anywhere from 5 to 7 abortions, teenagers waiting until their 3rd trimester to abort.
Yet, Vladimir Putin is blaming homosexuality for a decrease in birth rates in Russia, and his Orthodox Church-influenced govt. recently passed draconian anti-gay laws that led to assault, torture and even murder of many LGBTs including minors. Russian authorities are doing nothing to capture, arrest, try and punish those perpetrators, many of whom filmed themselves committing those attacks, then posted everything online.

Heard of the situation in France?! Ever since a bill allowing same-sex marriage and adoption of children by same-sex couples was announced, hundreds of thousands of anti-equality folks haven’t stopped RIOTING & RIOTING like crazy!

I’m Canadian and I never ever saw such a thing in Canada when the same LGBT rights were made legal in 2005. Not even once! And I live in a very populous city.
But in France! A completely different story. I know non-believers and people of other faiths might also be anti-equality but a very huge number of protesters belong(ed) to the Abrahamic religions.
Now, there are mayors refusing to officiate same-sex weddings, even though it’s now fully legal! Same-sex couples affected by such illegal refusal must now take those mayors to court!
I understand many Christians are in fact pro-equality. There are even some pro-equality Christian Churches. We’re not saying ALL Christians are automatically bigoted and anti-equality but it’s an undeniable fact that a very, very, very HUGE number of Christians around the world oppose equality.
I see anti-equality and anti-gay comments all the time, every single day, and many of such comments refer to homosexuality as a sin and an abomination.
Just watch this video and you’ll see how homosexuality is demonized explicitly because of words from the Bible… It’s just one example that represents hundreds of more videos online…

I was told some Biblical verses against homosexuality might be mistranslations or simply taken out of the cultural context of the time… Still! It doesn’t change the fact that most people that read such passages see those as clear condemnations of homosexuality.
Passages by Apostle Paul (in the New Testament) were explicit enough, and appeared to condemn both lesbianism & male homosexuality. Some say he was only referring to temple prostitution… And what about the verses that referred to females?
I’m sorry but one needs to be very naive to believe Paul was only referring to male shrine prostitutes…

Some told me Apostle Paul was not so reliable, wrote those words a long time after Jesus was crucified and so on… The thing is many, many, numerous Christians believe the Bible is God’s Word, even if written by men.
Granted, there are lots of Biblical rules and admonishments Christians no longer follow but anything related to homosexuality still applies to them… Of course!
