I recently went to a magick store and came across Cerri-A-Witch for prosperity. The chant says: Starving wallet time to feed Cash and money come to me.
I want to change the wording around to be specific. Can I do that without losing the effect of the spell?
Yes, change it to anything you like.

A spell has the energy of everyone who used it for it’s intended purpose reinforcing it, and a good sorcerer would set a proper energetic framework for their spells that you could end up with more variables than you’d want.
It’ll be much harder to direct it to something else than to just create another for your purpose if the person who made it is even slightly competent.
