My mother practices Voodoo and wants me to be 100% certain that I am protected when doing magick on my own.
Tried to talk to her about Sigils and certain beings, and she wanted nothing but to direct me to protection beforehand. Any books, sites, or information on the subject would be awesome.

I’m not sure about VooDou, but black tourmaline absorbs negative energies. Look into Scandinavian Trolldom/Root workers using the troll cross to stop hexes. You have to make that on your own.
