The Nine Doors of Midgard by Edred Thorsson is the best magical curriculum for Runework I have come across.

Icelandic magic
Northern mysteries and magic
While its not strictly magic, the havamal.
Are you looking to get into Northern Magick as a whole or just Galdr? Because it’s a wide field.

If you can get your hands on a copy, The Galdrabok by Stephen Flowers is a good resource.

Maybe ‘Secret of the Runes’ (das Geheimnis der Runen) by Guido von List. To be found online.

Mostly galdr, but i have a feeling its gonna take me to other northern occult practices so im open to northern magic
I would read the eddas and sagas, then. Along with what I’ve already said.

Good background info. Perhaps not quite necessary at the beginning but will help with understanding the runes and practices relating to them later

Yup. Also, the terms rokkr, galdur, lokkr and seidr.
