So I was reading S Collonys ‘Book of Agares’ and I noticed she mentioned mixing lemon balm, cinnamon, and ground frankincense into oil. I am in a situation (and will be for a few weeks) where I cant buy anything, and was wondering, is the use of all those materials needed to consecrate the book, or could i just use olive oil mixed with my blood?
I used olive oil and cinnamon and I think thyme and rosemary. I couldn’t get what she called for so I made it my own. I used the book I made well over a year. I stopped recently and traded it in for my computer, but I’ve had fewer successes in the month and half that I’ve been using my computer to journal instead so. I should probably put some sort of intent around the computer, because recording the same thing twice is no fun, and entirely why I started doing it on the pc alone.

Yes, you can adapt the ritual. S. Connolly even says in the book to make it your own so use what you can. Make it personal to you.
