Blood Moon on September 28th

I’ve heard about it recently and the foreboding sign–and even its name alone–draws my attention.

Is everyone here skeptic on the topic or pretty convinced it’s nothing at all? I’m curious as to BALG’s opinion.

Good question. Me, I know that blood moons are associated with the end of times but I’m not convinced that the world is ending that soon. However, I think it still has some measure of magical importance as a full moon. A full moon in general can have a great deal of magical importance.

The fact that blood moons are reddish or orange in color suggests to me that blood moons would be a good time for rituals of passion (hate curses, love spells, inciting war, acquiring a succubus/incubus, etc.) as well as starting new things - particularly projects that drive you and excite you - and letting go of the old. Where the other planets and stars in the sky are positioned that night may also affect this blood moon’s meaning. That’s my guess, and maybe others have better ideas.

Interesting to me that we had a blue moon on July 31, and now a red one on September 28. We live in interesting times.

I believe this one is the last in a recent sequence of four tightly grouped, with the last 3 happening over the past 18 months. Some members here have used them for various workings, the Search funtion may turn up useful results.

Ironically, I read that post earlier. It’s great when one bad apple ruins an entire image of people (as if it wasn’t already bad enough).

I was reading this just now about the same date, and thought some of you would enjoy reading it too:

I practice Blood Sorcery with Masonic based rituals and use the Blood Moon events to collect my Blood for Banful Magic purposes.

I use some of it immediately for socery events planned well in advance, some of it I freeze for later use (creating Sigils on parchment or lambskin), and some I intentionally putrify for symbolic co-relation purposes.

With all waking eyes looking to the sky, and fear being almost palpable in the air coupled with unique magnetic fields, I think the spirits are hyperactive and presents an opportunity not to be missed.

What is it exactly that someone is supposed to be afraid of? Turning into a werewolf?

Here’s an article about it: http://news.discovery.com/human/psychology/blood-moon-myths-superstitions-in-the-skies-140414.htm

Only for baneful purposes or it might be used for other purposes as well?

Of course, however you choose. I just find it an appropriate time for my lab work.

And as for the comment above regarding turning into a werewolf causing fear? Not on BALG. (I think most of us would bring a bag lunch so we could watch at a safe distance.)

Seriously, hard RHP devotees go mildly insane with fear worrying about everything from earthquakes, earth-shattering collisions, tsunamis, World War III and the second coming of Christ. Take a look for yourself online, it’s everywhere. There’s a " Super Church" in Texas with 20,000 members that is trembling waiting for the day to arrive. ( they are even producing a documentary about the event and the last 3 blood moons )

Its absolutely ridiculous, but the fear is real.

Speaking for myself, I not only believe that hatred and rage is a key to releasing power as EA discusses in his work “Baneful Magick”, but suggest fear generated by others ( certainly not the operator) is a powerful additional source of energy for sorcery events.

Each of the last 3 blood moons and the work that I have performed on those exhausting evenings, have produced speedy and impressive results for me.

I would be more than happy for there to be a sudden incline of murderous, ravenous werewolves. Swords can’t be trophies for long now, can they?

Also, now I’m going to be superstitious about pointing at the moon. Gracias, LadyEva.

This is awesome. They’re so convinced it’s the end, that they’re making a documentary to watch afterwards!

I’ll probably watch it.
