Try opening her sigil - you can find information on that linked from the the Member Resources thread, which has a ton of links to newsletter tutorials on things like sigils, attaining Theta-Gamma Synch (TGS), etc.

As you told you followed JoS for a couple of years.
Their simplicistic vision of evocation and such can be a tempting invitation for astral parasites who could limite your progress.
You should include in your daily routine a LBRP or the Star Ruby Ritual.
For the rest stay easy. Just activate her sigil and try skrying everyday for 20 minutes or something. It can take a month or even more to get some result.

While working with Mepsithal you can also try to work with Sastan (KoF) in a more active way like described in Works of Darkness.
The stuff here is great for training, koettings oaa stuff is really good too. There is also liber MMM and liber KKK, both are great training (kkk being a little more advanced than mmm)
