Do you guys think we should have an official chat room here? I mean there are some threads where we just are replying to each other which seems more fit for something like this?

it would give people
some where to go where
they just want to talk
about a magic and not stay
on topic all the time.
a chat room could replace the need for dead horses(you know, people wanting to blow off steam) so that the discussions we do have are all business(so to speak), also I could see some interesting topics started up off the fly in the chatroom. we just need to have an agreement in place that if it’s that good, we’ll make a topic out of it.
It’s been tried in the past but found little support to people that actually showed up. It was more of a chat party at specific times and days.
Well, if you really want one, you could just do it yourself.
You could either download an IRC client & create a channel, or just use one of the web-ones.

AHHHHHHHHH IRC I remember that! 
That’s what was tried before and everyone only showed up once or twice. Not going to lie, I was one of them, but life got in the way…
Edit: divorce sucked, sorry guys I’ll show up more this time if someone wants to give this another shot.

You know if you guys want to chat you could just exchange contact info, friend each other on FB etc and then use the im and have a conversation with all the people you enjoy chatting with. I talk to BALG members more through other social media and email than I do here.

Theres not enough people on this site to keep a chat room constantly active. unless you’re one of the people that spends your life on chat rooms
We could also form a Skype group, then you(we?) could even have group calls and stuff like that. Although i’m not sure would it be smart.
lol i can already see it? people putting on make-up shaving and getting the lighting right in their rooms before coming onto the chat room
