I definitely am in agreement with you. I do believe I can change the answer with if we’ll get right again. especially in this instance since it was so abrupt and not preplanned on his end but an impulsive reaction to his current feelings and state of mind. However. I do believe I need to approach it a certain way. Very carefully. And you’re right. NOW this sucks. But no matter who or how I ask. Space for him to figure things out and cool off seems to be my immediate necessity to do.
