There are so many fakes out there, any pointers?
I’ll check as see if I can find the place I got mine. I’ll let you know in a day or two if no one else has an answer. I was really happy with the one I picked up. Mine is only 4 inches, but the site had them up to 12. They aren’t cheap though from what I remember. Like I said, I’ll look into it and let you know.
Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is coming up next month, biggest gem show on the planet, rock people from all over go there to buy and sell. You might also try contacting an ebay seller called “ravenia” they make gorgeous and detailed skulls of all kinds of gem materials. I’ve gotten 2 skulls from them and they could be trusted, they have occasionally sold spheres, maybe they could do a custom job for you.
