Hey BALG I have a question. Has anyone here been in contact with any deities that represent the primordial Void? Deities such as Tiamat, or etc. Has any of you had any real and long standing relationship with that deity and/or the Void itself? I’m looking for a new avenue to explore, and a bit of guidance won’t hurt. If you have , then give me some pointers. Share your experiences. I’ve read posts , but what I’m looking for is an active practitioner , or someone with real experience with this current. Thanks..
A quick response on my experience with the void in an attempt to not ramble I will try to summarize two specific instances.
One: after first learning to astral travel into the void I placed a hat in the void as an experiment as physical objects are not supposed to be able to exist in said realm. It worked! Ask someone who has traveled there I have spoken with others that have confirmed that the hat is there. (Or was the last time this subject has been brought up)
Two: the last time I traveled to the void, before I bound my consciousness to a collective timeline in order to avoid negative outcomes due to some trying circumstances; I went there to meet an oriental man that I had purchased a ‘pet monster’ from on the dark web. It was necessary for me to travel there to obtain ownership I remember as he was genuinely surprised I had the ability to do so. The pet monster was a very dark oozing black hideous tentacle type monster an Eldritch or apocryphal sort of being I’m sure.
Unfortunately I have not been able to astral travel for some time as I am bound to this current physical vessel until “the situation” has been resolved and the only two beings I ever encountered during my travels there were the ‘pet monster’ and the man whom sold it to me. Therefore I can be of no further assistance on the subject. The void is incredibly empty in my experience and the ‘pet monster’ currently haunts my ex which is why I bought it.
I encountered a primordial insect deity once. It was all black inky ooze, glowing red eyes, tentacles, and needle-like teeth. It didn’t look much like an insect, and more like something from a Lovecraft novel or a monster from the Upside Down.
I’ve also read that nothing can withstand the energies of the void , that it naturally breaks down into what the Void is. How did the hat withstand it? Did you do something to it?
How did you encounter it? Where were you going and did you have any communication with it?
The spirit is an insect abyssmal creature that serves as an emissary/Arrow for the insect god Khepra. In Egyptian mythology, Arrows are lesser divine beings of death, plague, and pestilence who serve the “big” divine beings like Osiris.
One day I said, half-jokingly, “Khepra, do you have insect Arrows?”
A long time later, when Khepra felt I was ready, this being appeared. At first I thought it was something evil that wanted to fuck with me. Then I saw Khepra, who said, “Calm down! That is one of my bugs! Remember when you asked about my Arrows?”
I am just getting to know this spirit. He is…interesting. I say “he” because there are no human words for his gender, and he asked me to use male pronouns for him. In Egyptian mythology, the primordials came into being before gender and sexual reproduction existed, so they can reproduce on their own.
I had a conversation with a man that had some sort of bond with Tiamat since his birth. He said that every time he touches this.. “piece” of her within himself, he feels very powerful low vibrations as if he was in cave when rocks shaking. And this power did a lot of damage to himself and to spirits that he tried communicate. From his words “Tiamat is a being that alien to people, earth, she feels nothing about humans. I have a feeling that she stuck here against her will”. That man had success in breaking bonds with Tiamat and destroyed pieces of her within himself.
In other words Tiamat is a very ancient being that absolutely doesn’t give a fuck of this realm and people. In generally she doesn’t want to be here at all. But she doesn’t have other options.
That was last time when I contacted him for 3 years ago. I hope he is okay now
You might like the representation in Ahriman, a sort of anti-cosmic deity representing the void and opposing creation. His design is for all to return to the void and that the materium is an abomination.
Kurtis Joseph’s book The Black Magick of Ahriman is a walk on the wild side, but I totally recommend working through the whole thing. Kurtis published that as a contributing author at BALG years ago so there’s a good number of topics on it.
