An evening with Dantalion

I have been opening and scrying into Danatlion’s sigil for a week, and I decided on a full blown evocation to learn from this Goetic Spirit. In the Goetia Dantalion is the 71st spirit and is said to “knoweth the thoughts of all Men and Women, and can change them at will” I am a college student looking for an internship on my field of study and having the ability to change people’s thoughts will give me a huge leg up on my competition.

I set up and cleansed my temple room, alter, and self as outlined in “Evoking Eternity” and “Works of Darkness” at 10:00pm last night. I left the room to mentally prepare (first time evoking a Goetic Spirit) I returned around 11:30 and started the evocation.

I began to slip into the theta/gamma sync and I had the familiar feeling of falling through my floor but it quickly changed and I felt like the room I was in collapsed and constricted around me. It was crushing me at first, and then I felt nothing. At the same time I could see what looked like reality slowly being pulled together then POP!

What stood before me was a man bout 3 feet tall with long hair and a tribal looking mask. “Danatlion?” I asked. The figure didn’t say anything but instead its form changed it began to morph into an older woman in rags. I had the same feelings and impressions from this figure as I got when I would open Danatlion’s sigil. I knew it had to be Danatlion but I wanted to be sure.

I asked again and the figure replied in the affirmative, and now appeared to take on the guise of a younger woman. I began with my questions. (He kept morphing into different shapes and sizes through out the whole operation, the atmosphere around him was…well weird is the only way I can describe it.)

Me: I have heard you described as a Djinn, a Demon, and a Fallen Angel. Are any of these true?
Danatlion: I am all these and more. I am whatever I need to be. It is Man that applies labels.

Me: In the Goetia it is said that you know the thoughts of all men and women and can change them at will. Is this true, can you do these things?
Danatlion: Yes, with ease. I can even teach you all things that has ever occurred to any person on the face of the Earth. I can do this as easy as you can open a book and read. Through me all minds are like open books ready to be read, and to teach.

Me: How can I learn to develop these powers. To know all the thoughts of men and women and to change them at will?
Danatlion went on for a while about how we are connected to each other, and how eye contact and body language play a big role in discovering peoples thoughts and changing them. Basically if I make eye contact while talking to someone and I mirror their body language I begin to receive their thoughts, at first I won’t be able to distinguish their thoughts from my own but with practice I will be able to tell the difference. Then to change their thoughts I “transmit them through my eyes while I change my body language”.

I then issued a task for Danatlion and bid him leave. After he left I noticed that the effect he had on then temple room’s ambiance took a couple minutes to leave.

So anyone else worked with Danatlion? It was a positive experience and all but it was weird to me, almost alien. Is this the way most Goetic Spirit are?

I invoked Dantalion once and it felt like a blanket that was covering me. His energy gave me a feeling of deep and strong influence, also of precision and alertness, but at the same time calming and assuring, or protective. He likes to put people to the test. And he changes thoughts and whole situations quite impressively.

I read my Tarot cards before I evoked Dantalion. I found out that I would have to walk a fine line with him as he was going to test me during the operation and afterwards.

It is interesting that we both had a blanketing like effect, although mine was less assuring :slight_smile:

Interesting that you said Dantalion is going to test you. I’ve worked with his sigil before and from my experience he definitely makes you work for your goal.

Belial guided me through my first evocation of Dantalion and made introductions. Dantalion’s presence was difficult to feel at first due to Belial’s presence but once I could distinguish it and ever since I have felt nothing but calm, reassuring, compassionate energy from him. He even tried to ease my heartache when we had to put down one of our dogs last week. I’m getting ready to work more directly with him as I have 2 individuals whose minds and thoughts need changing in a rather serious way.

I asked Dantalion to teach me too, some month’s ago…i thought he was not going to help me, all of a sudden all kinds of dark psychology books are coming to me…i am learning so much…Hail Dantalion…He also allowed my deceased sister to contact me(and i didn’t even ask him for that favor)…

Dantalion has been wonderful. He’s been kind of quiet since my first evocation of him, but tonight he took a little trip with me and we talked a little more. I’m now very confident he will be aiding me in what I have asked for his help with.

He’s one of 4 entities I have been working with and they have all been SO wonderful. Even comforting me last week when we put one of our dogs down.

Great experience there, i want to start working with Dantallion, my first ever evocation, is there something I should know guys? Esp. The basics during the evocation, before/after.
