Afraid to work with Demons. Would you mind telling me your own experience? [And Introduction]

Hey. I am JJPPC. I entered this world of magick in December last year. Just Gallery Of Magick and Damien Echols High Magick.
I worked through sometime The Middle Pillar everyday since january, learn the LBRP and the LIRP.
I also know the Sword Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.

My first great success was angel magick. Specially Amiel by making me feel attractive and made me more outgoing. Then Rochel made clients from my university appear when i asked him to help me with their cases.
Vehuiah helped me too.

And other angels helped me with other things. Being more subtle. But i have been having problems in which angels did not help me. For example: Since i left my ex, i have been somehow gradually attracting less people to the point i am invisible to the opposite sex.
Like really alarming, i am not the best looking guy, but i got approached, looked at, etc. But at this point is like i am invisible to the opposite sex. Not only that but to the point the girls i like just ignore me and go up to my friends.

I don´t want instant sexual satisfaction, nor i want all the girls to like me. Nor i want to have sex with everyone. If i could choose i wanted to have true love, but first i want to reverse this situation. It almost feels like a curse.

Due to my christian background (i left for sure) i am afraid that working with demons is going to backfire. I don´t want to hurt anybody, nor i want my friends to get less attention. I do not want to put down my friends in order for me to succeed. I am not that type of person. Nor i want to have my family being hurt.

By doing Raziel Pathworking, i asked him who could help me with improving in doing Martial Arts, and he said “ANDRAS”. I looked up and got scared. Also scared for the fact that an angel told me to work with a demon. Then i asked for this matter and heard the name “AGARES”.

What do you recommend for me? PD: i tried breaking curse magick, sigils, Angel Sitael, etc. But this problem subsists. Is like i am invisible. I literally had a couple of years ago girls staring at me, following on ig, approaching me, etc. But now is like the opposite, and i am physically the same, if not more muscular because i got into the gym and do martial arts.

Re Andras vs Agares, I would say go with Agares. Agares is known for growth, he’s a great guy and beginner freindly - I work with him to build my garden and my gardening year is always better when he’s involved.

Andras is all about chaos and destruction - not great for skill building in Martial Arts imo, where you need to keep a clear head and stay under precise control, hard and fast, and a bad mistake could land you or your buddies in hospital.

For the issue with girls, the go-to guy for me here is Asmoday aka Asmodeus. He’s more well rounded than he sounds and can get you the right woman for a long term relationship.
It’s unlikely you’re cursed unless you can think of someone who was really jealous of y ou or something - curses are set by someone you know most of the time.

In my experience, the Andras energy is intense and aggressive and I will not recommend for anyone not familiar or at least drawn to intense demonic energy.

However, he’s really not that much all about chaos and destruction as far as I’ve experienced. That’s more Abaddon’s wheelhouse ^^. He is all about war, combat (both physical and psychological) and death. As far as I could tell, he is a wargod or affiliated with some in several cultures, so really not a bad choice for aqcuiring more skill in the martial arts if you vibe with his style. His energy is not that much of the quiet master and more that of the “crush the enemy efficiently and without remorse” kind.

How developed are your psychic/astral senses? I do pathworkings too but I always tell myself that I won’t feel or hear anything because my astral senses aren’t developed at all, but the book says that spirits might ask me questions. These books are aimed at readers who don’t seem to be THAT into magick, so I don’t know how they could hear them if their astral senses aren’t developed.

Agreed I wouldn’t recommend Andras for a beginner either. In my experience though Andras has been really good for business, there’s a ritual in Henry Archer’s book the Magick of Angels and Demons with Andras and Anuel to “bring fortune to a business”. Any time I do it, I get a major boost in sales.

When I first began working with Andras, prior to that book, he helped me fix a psychosomatic issue caused by high stress, which he also helped in practically curing entirely. I think one interpretation of Andras could be that he helps you handle battles and his intensity can also be a positive force that pushes things forward.

I’ve also read that his name means “man” in greek and he’s strongly associated with Mars. I can confirm the last part as that’s how his energies feel to me and seeing as Mars can also be associated with accidents and chaos along with everything else, makes sense that some people might experience it that way. I think it could be based on someone’s own relationship with that energy current.

It is not well developed. I just happen to be thinking about other things (while doing pathworking) and a word pops out literally at the left side near the back of my head.

And that word usually i can identify it not to be mine because sometimes it says things i do not want to hear or names that i did not even know existed. For example i did not knew Andras until then.

Or for example “What am i waiting for?” and the answer is a word i never heard before “Advent” and to this day i don´t know what that means. But the word in certain context makes sense.

It is not a matter of psychic senses, sometimes i do not see anything. The first times i did not see shit. But when i repeated it i literally saw other angels. I even did Raziel Pathworking combines with a meditation to find a deity. AMUN RA appeared and i freaked out because the image of him was so vivid. Like if someone was hacking my brain just to be seen. Even if i opened my eyes he was there. And by the way, i don´t know anything about egyptian pantheon. Nor did i know AMUN RA was a mix of gods. And yet he appeared exactly like this image. Maybe his eyes darker and the details of his “hat” were different, more like a pharaoh

And what about Agares? It is another name that popped up.
Is there a demon that is “begginer friendly”? Or at least somewhat benevolent?

Andras makes sense because his area of dominance is sketchy as hell to be aggressive. But arenot there other options? For example i know Astaroth is the demonized version of Ishtar/Astarte. But how do you find them to be?

My ex visited tarot readers, and knew about “freezing” and believed in all of that. I left her because we did not have the same values. She grieved that a lot.

And after that, gradually is like I became invisible. I don´t know if i am cursed or not. I am sure she did something because she talked about those things and knew; and of course because she insisted to me to come back a lot. In pathworking i asked that to Raziel “I asked her if i was MALDITO” and he said “No, it is just a MALEFICIO”.
It is in english the difference between Hex and Curse i supposed. I did not know the difference until i heard that. I searched up on google and it is like a “lesser” curse? Or minor one?
May be self inflicted because of low self esteem and overthinking?

I may try to improve this situation with Agares and i will update.

I haven’t worked with Agares before, so I can’t answer that. But, do mind that the whole “demons are the supreme enemy and siding with them means doom forever” is mainly human fanfic and popculture dramatization. Working with them should not be taken lightly (as you shouldn’t when seeking out angels). The spiritworld is a lot more of a grey area where angels and demons overlap quite a bit. A lot of spirits that are considered demons are also pagan gods (demonized by the catholic church). It’s also not uncommon for people to work with both types of spirit.

I wouldn’t say there are any “beginner friendly” demons. It’s in part depending on the type of work you plan to do and also, like angels, it’s an energy you either resonate with or not. Although Astaroth and Marbas, for instance, are a luttle less intense. If your christian past is what makes you fear working with these spirits, but it was recommended to you through angelic pathworking. You might want to consider the more solomonic-like methods of using angelic counterparts to protect and to bind the demon you wish to call on.

As for your original post and going on the recommendation. I wouldn’t totally dismiss your ex having a hand in the disinterest you’re experiencing, but a dip in your confidence might be what empowers it further. The greatest hexes are the ones we put on ourselves. Aside from help from spirits. I think it’s important especially in cases like (re)building confidence etc. to also have a big part of working on it be on your own merit and not only relying on external help. That might mean some shadow work and work like that is not easy, be sure to involve some selfcare afterwards.
