About egregores

if egregores are a set of thought forms of several individuals, then, for example, if several people read a book, imagine each thing described, feel strongly, by empathy, the feelings of the characters, the plot becomes a egregore? do the described places become real on the astral / mental plane? like, avalon, of the Athurian legends, or dante’s inferno, are now “real” places in parallel with this world?

It depends on your definition of real. Do they become physical places? No. But they can still gain power and the ability to influence the world.
I suppose it comes down to whether you believe the other realms, such as heaven and hell, are physical places or energetic concepts.
If you believe the latter, then thought up places can certainly be considered real. Though if you believe the different realms are physical places, then thought up realms wouldn’t be considered real.
Personally, I don’t believe a thought up place can become real.

Yes, they have some permanence of the astral that remains when you leave and is accessible to many people. You can go visit them and you’ll find aspects that other people added that maybe weren’t that noticeable to you, but they’re there anyway.

It’s quite fun for gamers where the landscape can be very clear as it’s a memory of the in-game landscapes.
