Most angels are androgynous, meaning they have both masculine and feminine traits. Yes, Uriel can appear as a female, or a very feminine looking male. Gabriel also has a feminine aspect and some magicians refer to the archangel as a she.
Labeling all angels as male seems to be the result of the patriarchy of the Church, rather than actual reality, since angels are far older than the religion of Christianity.
Edit to add: There are female versions of the demons of the Goetia as well, that some magicians, like Faustus Crow, work with.
