So say if you didn’t get a long with a particular spirit, would that stop them from teaching you? And say if there were a particular spirit that’s said to be very similar or even the same, would that spirit not work with you either?

It’s could be that your not ready for what they have to teach, they try to scare you away. Or it could be the way you approached the spirit was disrespectful. Or that there simply not intrested in teaching you, because there teaching methods and you learning methods don’t suit. Maybe a different spirit with dominion over similar things might be better.

Well said. I agree.
Spirits are much the same as people: not everyone will get along. That doesn’t mean they won’t teach you, provided there is some gain for them. Just don’t expect to be best friends
