My question is that if a pact is not working to the acheivement of a goal in mind for yourself and your not seeing progress. Can you just summon the aforementioned demon and break the pact? Or propose to see proof of their workings on your goal and if you dont see anything would it be acceptable to break the oath of the pact?

Or just ask them what’s taking long, maybe there’s something you need to do on your end to speed things up.

I would ask to add to the pact not break it. You risk offending the spirit
depending on the goal? does the spirit need you to to create a gateway to kick start the proceedure? for example it it was to get close to someone, have you started engaging with the person in some way, saying hi and perhaps starting a general convo.
