A good book on omens

I’m going to be reading more on dream symbolism and omens in the near future. I’m taking time off(I’m not sure how long) from active divination completely, and instead will go for passive divination. this ranges from numerology, to dreams, to the shit people say(I’m not kidding). I’m refining this as I think this is what true divination is all about.

that being said what books would you recommend on omens, and passive divination in general(receiving insight from the world around you?)

My dad is really into AP and dreaming/lucid dreaming. I’ll check his bookshelf and pick his brain next weekend and see what he suggests. I remember he has one called the Dream Dictionary but that’s all I remember off the top of my head.
