The Four Celestial or Divine Kings, guardian gods protecting the Four Quarters, East, West, South, and North; i.e., the Guardian of the Eastern Quarter, Jikokuten, the Guardian of the Western Quarter, Kômokuten, the Guardian of the Southern Quarter, Zôchokuuten (Zouchouten), and the Guardian of the Northern Quarter, Bishamonten (Tamonten - Vaiśravaṇa).
