Hello everyone, im new to the forum but been practicing magick on and off for the the last 10 years with the focus on my own development and growth.
Was drawn to BALG a few months ago, the entities in my life have pointed out that i need to balance my practice and my life and worry less about other for a time, or as i keep getting told in short “you have to much yang not enough yin” .
As a result of this I have had a strong pull towards the videos and info Kurtis Joseph has put out. currently going over the prayers of arezura while i wait for my copy of BMOA. Learned much from what ive looked into so far looking forward to learn and grow more.

Hey there, I’m Sean and I started going down the LHP (or at least trying) a little over 2 years ago. I first started getting into it when I was an atheist just talking to my friends on skype we were sending each other links to controversial websites and laughing about it among them was a KKK website and Joy of Satan, fortunately I didn’t get to much into the KKK website but I found the JOS very interesting I laughed at first but when I noticed how serious they were I decided to read more about it. I found a lot of information about meditations, demons, and magic which all seemed like nonsense at the time but the thing that most intrigued me was astral projection. There were a few downsides to the JOS like trying to turn people into Nazis (which I thought was hilarious) but it still had some nice magical exercises.
I became almost obsessed with trying to learn to project because if I could see proof that magic wasn’t nonsense and that there is something more to life then the physical mundane world and that religious people weren’t complete nuts. I listened to binaural beats every night for almost a year, but unfortunately I still haven’t been able to project however I just purchased Mr. Koetting’s course on Soul Travel so I haven’t given up yet and hopefully the $200 I just spent wasn’t wasted. I started meditating a lot after school when I was in college and could start feeling pressure on my third eye which gave me at least some evidence (though very little) that magic was real. I considered myself a Theistic Satanist for a while and got into arguments with a few atheistic ones which was entertaining but now I would just call my self an occultist (or an aspiring one at least). I’ve been working on my spirituality or ascent on and off which is probably why I haven’t really been getting any results but I still believe in magic and reading posts on forums like this just reinforce that belief. However occasionally I still wonder if everyone on these forums just happen to be schizophrenics that see the same things but that seems unlikely.
All I’ve done since I first saw that JOS website is research occult topics then I came across several other occult authors like S. Connolly, Robert Bruce, and obviously E.A. Koetting. I watched a lot of Eric’s youtube videos and one that I found very interesting was about summoning a succubus listening to that blew my mind and I became obsessed with summoning a succubus as well as astral projecting (which I still am with both). I found Succupedia’s blog I scrolled all the way down to the first post and read the entire thing along with every other blog like his before I finally decided to wake up at 3:00am and write a Letter of Intent to Lilith for a Succubus, but I’m not sure if it worked or not since I can’t see spirits.
My goals are to astral project, summon a succubus or spirit lover, and open my chakras specifically my 3rd eye so I can see spirits but I read it might be a good idea to open all of them in order from the base to crown but I’m not sure if I could open one the Ajna would be it. Despite having no notable experiences that could 100% prove any of this I still sit there focusing on my breath and imagining a bright light around me for 15 minutes twice a day hoping that its doing something. Hello, my name is Eric. I have a passion for herbalism, and enjoy trying new meditation exercises. I currently practice chaos magick, and recently I have been experimenting with the use of disincarnate sigils to empower my work. I am on a long, arduous journey of self improvement and self mastery, as I spent the better part of my adult life very unbalanced in how I was handling my own affairs, but I am also pleased with the progress I have made so far and look to the challenges ahead. Hi everyone. My name is Amelia, and I’ve started my journey on the LHP for about a year now. I’m Afro-Cuban and Salvadorian. My father practices Santeria, although, I’ve never felt a connection to it. I recently started practicing evocation and have had a great amount of success so far. I’ve successfully evoked Duke Dantalion with sigil magick, and I’ve successfully evoked Prince Sitri (although I won’t be doing it again).
I hope to perfect the art of evocation and open my third eye.

Although I have been on this forum for a very long time I have recently seen more new screen names join up here in such a short time than ever before. Because of this recent influx of new members I’m going to go out on a limb and assume many of you are just getting started in magick. If this is the case then I believe that you may have run into the usual rookie mistakes and perhaps even given in to preconceived notions as we all do starting out on our path to ascention.
I have developed a meditation that is designed to assist in the development of the needed Psychic skills for magical work. I will share this with you all below I hope it can be of some help to those of you just starting out. I know that whole time is confusing and had I known then what I know now my journey would have been less rough around the edges. So here it is and all the best to you on your path. Cheers!

You should maybe look into the Goetia and learn how to evoke or invoke if you are feeling a little lost on whether it’s real or not. Simply writing a letter can definitely get some attention from spirits but not enough for results. Learn how to use there sigils and attain true communication. Start your studies there. You’re still at the ground work but you’ll get there if it’s truly a path you desire

Hello all. I’ll introduce myself by first saying I’m newer to the left hand path in general and I’m still trying to find a bit of “me”. I think this is the right path for me, though.
Anyway, I’m Sabah. I started traveling on my religious path after someone I admired a lot turned on me and made me question my beliefs, and then shortly after I started to notice that my mental health problems I thought were under control started to get stronger. Simply put, I knew I needed something to empower me according to my own will because I was lost and I was running out of options to help myself.
I turned to LaVeyan Satanism for a while but started to realize recently that it probably isn’t what I need, so I’m trying more magic-based, spiritual approaches. I’m interested in Draconian magic, Luciferianism, Egyptian-based magic, Chaos magic and Voodoo at the moment. I don’t have much space to work my magic with as I’m keeping it private (because I’m not sure how my family would react) and I’m limited to my room, but I’ve been reading a bit about left hand path magic and trying to find what works. I like being resourceful and using what I can find.
Any and all suggestions appreciated. Thank you for reading.
